Environmental Advocacy
In July of 2009 John and Midge Sweet partnered with Radiance Solar to build one of Downtown Atlanta’s first solar photovoltaic systems. The Sweets have been long time environmental advocates, and the installation of their solar array serves as a statement about their commitment to clean energy. The Sweet’s solar array was the first built for a law firm by Atlanta-based Radiance Solar, and is the first solar-power installation for any law firm in the state of Georgia . The 10kW system will offset a substantial portion of the firm’s energy needs and will allow the Sweets to showcase their firm’s commitment to sustainability by reducing their environmental footprint. The Sweet’s solar array is a world-class installation and an example of what forward thinking business looks like in Atlanta.
